South Timbalier Area

  • Comprised of  South Timbalier (ST) Blocks 26, 41, 46 and Bay Marchand Area
  • Located approximately 60 to 72 miles south of New Orleans in water depths of 73 feet or less
  • Acquired ST 26 in 1998, with 13 discovery wells in the ST 26 field since acquisition
  • ST 41 field was discovered by EPL in late 2003, 60% WI, acquired remaining interest from W&T Offshore in mid-2012
  • Currently both ST 26 and 41 fields are operated by EPL, 100% working interest
  • Bay Marchand Area operated by Chevron, 13-80% working interest
