Stephen S. St. Amand joined us in November 2004 as our Lead Drilling Engineer and was named Drilling Manager in May 2007. Mr. St. Amand is currently serving as Vice President of Drilling and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of EPL’s well operations including drilling, workovers and completions, and through tubing operations. He has over 22 years of energy industry experience and was most recently with Schlumberger as a Senior Project Manager in the Integrated Project Group overseeing drilling and completion projects as well as coiled tubing drilling projects offshore and in the lower 48 states. Prior to his position with Schlumberger, Mr. St. Amand held various positions with Marathon Oil Company in Offshore and North Louisiana Operations, and Reservoir Engineering. Just prior to leaving Marathon in 1998, Mr. St. Amand was a Senior Production Supervisor in the eastern Gulf of Mexico. Mr. St. Amand is a graduate with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
